Thanks to all who attended Flux: Fest!
Flux: Fest celebrated arts projects that have taken place throughout 2022: All aimed to give young people new tools for self-expression, so that we might see our futures differently.
Thank You to ALL the Flux project members – for being brave, and bringing your whole selves.
To everyone who helped the event go so smoothly – volunteers, caterers, sewers, mini-bus drivers, photographers, designers, technicians, and teachers. It’s amazing to know what can be achieved when we put our heads and hearts together.
Thanks to Flux partners and practitioners: The Gulbenkian, with the Ket Refugee Action Network & Spring Lange Neighbourhood Centre; Ideas Test, with DAbase Music and Dante or Die at Victoria Academy and Will Adams Academy, Community Art Kent with Pie Factory Music and Dover Smart Project, Beats by Girls with Flo, Living Words with Kent Libraries and Young LGBTQIA+ individuals, collaborations between Living Words artists and Flux Practitioners at Turner Free School and Dover Christ church Academy, and beginning from December 2022, Shepway Youth Hub & Folkestone Youth!
In addition, thanks to Flux sponsors and funders: ArtsWork, ACE, Kent County Council, Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, NHS Kent & Medway, Transforming health and social care in Kent and Medway, & A Better Medway: Easier Ways To Be Healthy.
