We’re delighted to announce that we’ve received funding from Arts Council England, Kent Community Foundation, Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport, Coronavirus Community Support Fund and The National Lottery for our nationwide Autumn Project!
This is an incredibly challenging time for those living in, working in, and visiting care homes. We will be working with carers, residents, and relatives form 15 care homes to pilot working remotely with carers/activity coordinators for them to trial our way of working work one to one with residents.
We have reached out to new care homes for this project, so that not all participants are those care homes who already know and love our work. This way, we will be able to truly evaluate the pilot and future scope of remote working.
All will receive their words in a digital document, and their words will go into a publication, to be published end Nov and sent to care homes across the UK, to unite the sector through sharing each other’s words about the recent Covid experience. We imagine this will receive a fair amount of publicity and be good for all homes involved.
