Living Words Masterclass: How to run Arts & Health projects *April 2024 – Book Now!*

Participatory online workshop providing practical tools to set up and deliver arts and health projects.

Are you an individual artist wanting to pursue a career in the arts and health sector? Join award-winning Living Words founder and artistic director Susanna Howard, with 17 years experience. Gain tried and tested knowledge that will put you at an advantage and ensure project members have a stake in what you are co-creating from the very genesis of working in the sector.

This Masterclass will include:

* Guidance on how to run best practice arts and health projects from start to finish, through the realisation or R&D, to the planning, delivery, and evaluation.
* The use of best practice examples to inspire your work and ensure provision is sustainable and suitable for your community, or idea.
* Tips on how to stay ‘ahead of the curve’ by thinking and delivering innovatively.
* Learnings on how to nurture and grow your reach, across audiences and partnerships.
* Safeguarding and inclusivity tips, and how to tailor whatever space you are creating, to the needs and lived experience present.
* Opportunities to share your own experiences, raise questions in individual and group discussion, and meet like-minded peers.

“Over the past two decades, innovations incorporating the arts and health have been used to enhance physical and emotional support for resilience and wellbeing in communities, complementing and supporting therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive efforts, increasing awareness of health and contributing to emergency preparedness.” ~ World Health Organisation, Arts & Health
