We have teamed up with the world-leading contemporary choir, LCV, to perform at a three-day festival in Folkestone. Profound Sound is an experimental sound festival in Folkestone, reaching across traditional forms of music to the fringes of sound-art covering song and instrumental performance, spoken word, radio broadcasting, sound installation, opera, contemporary classical and jazz electroacoustic and sound-art.
It will be an immersive and interactive performance of UP THE MOON, a collaboration between three people living with advanced dementias in Folkestone, Living Words writers, and LCV choir. The excitement comes after a sold-out show at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London and a new recording of the Living Words collaboration, with support from award-winning musician and producer Nitin Sawhney OBE – to be launched in Folkestone in a few months time.
The show is FREE and you can find the full Profound Sound programme by clicking here.
