The lyrics are the words of local Folkestonian, John Offen, who is living with late stage dementia. To create the piece John worked with Susanna, founder of Living Words, and singer/songwriter Marit Røkeberg who composed the music. FUNNY OLD WORLD is performed by LCV and was recorded at Nitin Sawhney’s music studio. It is published by STATE 51.
